The world bewails problems because of the lack of ‘good intelligence’…

This is how most people in the world ~ view the future.

You have heard them – maybe some among your friends, “I don’t know what the world is coming to!” But as one of the world’s greatest Bible teachers of our time – Rev. David Pawson - says, “we can quietly say to them, “Well, we know what the world is coming to, because it is all in the Bible.”

Whether any one accepts this or not, it is still true.

Among the Leaders of the world, heads of the UNO, Kofi Anan & his successor, Ban Ki Moon; or ex-presidents of USA, Bill Clinton & Al Gore; scientists & experts, more & more we are being warned of many serious situations “if we don’t do something –now!” From global warming & the environment, to threats of infectious plagues, to unstable economic factors like the world ‘oil peak’, to increasing world poverty, & even extreme religious views, an attitude of ‘doom & gloom’ are not unknown these days. It is not unfashionable now to speak of dates “when it will be too late”, or “the end of this world as we know it”.

Most people see a future of total disaster - as a real possibility.

Over the years of this century, the emphasis has often been on decisions made by leaders, which were thought to have been based on definite ‘intelligence information’, but then later questioned seriously as being flawed or totally incorrect. Yet there are moves by some leaders to increase the level of ‘intelligence gathering’ or ‘sharing of intelligence’ by friendly nations, in an effort to forestall some serious military attacks or ‘foreseeable’ disasters, like tsunamis. Even within the 2006 leadership in U.S. Defence, the strategy is said to be shifting its priority, from military force to using more intelligence & “covert action techniques” which could prove more successful IF “intelligence is improved”. Finding ways of improving procuring the intelligence is important and can be dangerous to informants & those who take risks to find it.

It is true; no one can be better than his or her source of information.

People long to find accurate, ‘intelligence’ of the future. Many people can now go to the Internet search engines, & find a great array of ideas, from 623,000 on ‘God’s prophetic intelligence future’, which includes a preface as a letter from Nostradamus to his son which has a few true points. [www.sacred-texts.com/nos/preface.html] There are over 1 million links to ‘Biblical prophecies of the future’, with such an array – even one article ‘Prophecies hidden in the song ‘American Pie’. We live in a world of many varying ideas! Where can we go or who can we turn to?

Here is a way for Bible-reading Believers ~to see God’s Prophetic Future.
Speaking at a seminar on the New Testament ‘Book of Revelation’ about the future, David Pawson told a story of a group of some confused Theological students who were relaxing after lectures on ‘eschatology’, (End times) in the gymnasium. The Caretaker was reading a book while waiting for their game to finish so he could lock up.
The students were curious. “What are you reading?” they asked him.
“Revelation”, was the surprising reply! “Do you understand it?” they asked.
“Oh yes” was his eager reply, “Jesus wins!” *

It’s true! And in addition we do not need to have a puzzled or resigned attitude, (as many Christians do), either say, in a sanctimonious way, ‘God is Sovereign, He knows what He is doing – so we don’t need to know’; or in a confusion of many different ideas & teachings say, ‘Prophet So & So explains all the Bible, so that means I do not need to study it –it’s too hard anyway’. Thousands are looking for the One World leader & the ‘revived Roman Empire’ - very sure it is the EU & 2007 is the year for the 7 year “covenant with many” to commence. Others are not worried because, “I’ll be raptured away to Heaven, and so I don’t need to know the rest as I probably won’t be here”. Confusion among Christians is very understandable.

How sad! We believe God does want us to understand HIS PLANS for the future.
God has given us many pictures, warnings, explanations and loving instructions, so we can have so much valuable ‘Non-secret inside information’
– Prophecies from His Word,
even our own ‘intelligence force’ if we like to think about it that way!
God has not led His prophets to write so many books of the Bible for His own information but for ours! He wants us to share it with each other.

SUPPOSE, JUST FOR INTEREST & EXAMPLE WE THOUGHT OF ALL TRUE CHRISTIAN & MESSIANIC BELIEVERS… LIKE THIS ~

Watchmen’s
Intelligence
Network – knowing that because Jesus ‘will win’, we can be encouraged!

It is for the People of God, to His Glory! (We need not be ‘guessing’ or ‘in the dark’!)

We see the problems God's way-
watching the world & humbly comparing the Word...
We pray in harmony with the Holy Spirit -
using the intellect & 'watchtowers' He gives us.
We know God is working through our prayers,
because He has promised to hear.
We persist and wait for God's time -
this is the hardest part- but our faith has to be tested, to make it strong.
We claim the answers -
even though we may not see them all.
We thank Him & give Him all the GLORY!

Even though we may not realise it we can be part of the unseen, but real ‘Watchman’s Intelligence Network’ of Bible-reading, praying Christians, that are scattered all over the world. We are people of all ages & backgrounds, men and women, rich and poor, in almost every ethnic group that the Good News of Jesus has reached, (though many feel isolated and alone). Everyone, who, like those in Jesus’ parables, of the faithful servants, or the Bridal virgins, were waiting patiently for their Lord to come. Every true Christian Believer!
Does that describe me? It does, if you are reading about, and praying for Jesus return.

SO, THIS IS WHAT WE DO KNOW FOR SURE BASED ON OUR ‘INTELLIGENCE’!

1. WE KNOW ~ THE CONCLUSION and CLIMAX of HISTORY is that KING JESUS' VICTORY IS GUARANTEED!
It is not only someone in a story *that can say, "Jesus wins!" We know this too, & can rejoice in it! It means that whatever else happens, we can have an unshakable faith in our God.
[Our intelligence Source is: Revelation ch.19, & 20:6.] “Blessed & holy is anyone who has part in the first resurrection, [Believers of all time], over him the second death has no power. On the contrary they [all Believers/saints] will be priests of God & of the Messiah, & they will rule with Him for a thousand years.” This is after the one great, glorious resurrection Day of Yeshua’s Coming!

2. WE KNOW ~ CONFLICT WILL CONTINUE. [Intelligence Source: Biblical Intelligence & Watchman's Intelligence Network – by sharing with each other the stories of what God is allowing in the world.]
> Wars in this World. Jesus words in Matthew 24, Luke 21 & Mark 13 all mention wars, and Revelation chapter 6 gives a scenario of the events initiated by the breaking of the Seals, by the nail pierced hands of the 'Slain Lamb'. These clearly state the symbolic powers portrayed there, "were given power to take peace from the earth." Now however, we know where those wars are, and can easily visualise further potential conflicts, even between China & Taiwan, or Russia & Chechnya, or Georgia, not to mention many other possibilities, especially in the Middle East. 'Civil' wars, Gang & Drug wars destroy many. This knowledge makes us sad – not surprised! “You will hear the noise of wars nearby & the news of wars afar off.” JNT.
> Terrorist threats. "Rumours of wars," is what Jesus said, and now we know that even the threat of a potential terrorist plan, can paralyse activities, cancel air flights and bring fear into leaders and peoples' hearts. It is all coming true as Jesus said.
> 'Space', is now included. A recent T.V. programme outlined not only the wide use of spy satellites, but also the covert plans by several world powers to be involved in space battles in the future. Talk about Space being 'the final frontier'! It apparently is far more advanced than most people know. China is active here. But we have the 'corner' on this area too! "For our battle is...against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly realms". And it is not by our efforts, but our prayers simply enable God to order the victorious intervention of His great Angelic powers as shown in Daniel chapter 10.
Only God’s Spiritual powers can fight against satanic spirits, but He uses our prayers!

3. WE KNOW ~ COMMUNICATIONS ARE PROLIFERATING!

Daniel was given great insight when he wrote, "Many will go here and there to increase knowledge." (12:4.) His prophecy has never been as true, as since the 20th century!

> Good uses. Most of us would not like to be without reliable mail, or without the phone, radio, T.V. or even the Internet. The Gospel is being transmitted by all of these! And we know that "this Gospel of the Kingdom will be made known in all the world and then the End will come." Matthew 24:14. Great prophetic intelligence! Even faster forms of travel of people can help to spread the Gospel where 200 years ago there was only transport by ship, or animals or walking!
We even know who some of the Endtime, human agents for spreading the Gospel will be as it says in Isaiah 19:23 –25, “Israel…Egypt & Assyria ~ a blessing on the Earth!”

Great Intelligence info! It is good to read and learn about it.

> Bad uses. Most of us have only vague ideas of the evil uses to which these modern communications can be put. However because there will be 'an increase in wickedness' we also know that modern technology will be increasingly used to bring in the time of evil world control, both financial and religious, using this modern technology. (Rev.13.)

God will give us wisdom to know how to react when the time comes.

4. WE KNOW ~ CATASTROPHIES WILL CONTINUE...

> So called, 'natural disasters'. Sadly God will allow areas of earthquake or volcanic devastation, floods, fires or terrible droughts. It seems 'mind-boggling' to see the new total of fatalities in recent earthquakes affecting thousands, also injuries & homelessness & refugees. We wonder too, about the mention of "the wild beasts of the Earth" in Revelation 6:8. In the context it seems they are real creatures, (or perhaps new viruses?) We live in a world of death! But we know this is basically all because of sin in the hearts of people.

> Some disasters are man-made. To what degree, mankind is responsible for the proliferation of the horrible plagues we hear of, AIDS, malaria, TB, Ebola, and others, we do not know.
We may experience less of these in the God-blessed Western nations, but maybe soon we will, - as recently highlighted on some BBC programmes? All are made worse by increasing famine. Sadly we know these things will not only continue but also get worse. The 4^th Seal of Revelation 6: 8 says, ‘Death and Hades’ – “were given authority to kill one-quarter of the world, by war, by famine, by plagues & with the wild animals of the Earth." [Jewish N.T.]

Do you know how many that will be, out of more than 6 billion?
So many souls plunged into Eternity!

5. WE KNOW ~ ABOUT CONFUSION, EVEN COLLAPSE IN POLITICS.
[Our Intelligence source: Watchman's I N. –that is commentators & newscasts, available to caring & concerned Christians.]
> Many commentators fear political turmoil in M.E. Nations. This is happening, to various degrees in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria and even Egypt. Also Pakistan, Afghanistan, Columbia, Shri Lanka and Haiti, & even some south sea Island nations! Citizens under huge domination and stricture, especially in Muslim nations, are longing for more 'democratic freedoms'. Even Islam is facing various factions calling for a more acceptable 'face', while other nations are pressing for more strict 'Shar'ia' laws. Senegal is a nation contemplated this as they expected to host a summit of the 52 nations in the OIC - Organisation of Islamic Nations conference in 2006, & changes are being made to laws such as marriage, even in Western nations -to be more ‘Politically Correct’, allowing lower moral standards.
> Our Intelligence source indicates that the Beast’s' body' is forming, which is the ‘One World Government’ described in Daniel 7, as “a fourth beast – terrifying & frightening and very powerful… It crushed & devoured its victims & trampled underfoot whatever was left.” Revelation 13 and 17 give more details [Also our article on ‘The Time of Tribulation’.]. The humanists answer to growing problems is the 'World Conference on Religion & Peace'; & even new non-national organisations like the ‘Clinton Global Initiative’, or the ‘Alliance of Organisations’ promoted by the UNO, to deal with poverty; serious medical plagues, (like AIDS); ‘global warming’; and religious extremes. The world’s financial & other systems are becoming more intertwined - often governed by the need for ‘more security’ in the face of growing lawlessness & corruption, & desperate poverty, or religious fanaticism. A personal ‘bar code’ is becoming more of a reality every passing month, “everyone to receive a mark…” Few leaders or scientists or inventors realise they are fulfilling prophecies!

Mankind is looking increasingly desperate & helpless as the threats develop.

> Crime, dishonesty and disregard for truthful standards are increasing. Paul warned Timothy about this in his 2nd letter. "There will be terrible times in the Last Days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving. Slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of 'godliness' but denying its power." It brings great sorrow with it!

Was Paul looking at our TV’s this year? We are sad he was right, but not surprised.

6. WE KNOW ~ A CONTINUING FOCUS WILL BE ON ISRAEL.
[Our Intelligence source: Scripture, & Watchman's I. Network, through newscasts, etc widely available, especially on the Internet.]

> Our intelligence tells us that modern Israel, will be a key in the cataclysmic events of this decade. This is amazing for a small country of about 6 million people, very small in comparison with many – especially Muslim - nations!) Zechariah wrote about these things in 480BC! “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling… I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for ALL the nations…” Our intelligence is all there in chapter 12 – 14. Therefore, we Believers in Israel’s God, who constantly read their Book, (and ours), have the very best intelligence possible! The major ‘powers’ that have been involved in the Israeli/Palestinian situation – the Quartet – are cautious & concerned, that the situation only seems worse. So again, we are not surprised, though we are often sad. That does not mean that God will stop working with the world’s leaders or their peoples. Knowing this ‘intelligence’ we can pray & believe for some relief from suffering for all groups. However the events surrounding Israel at the time of the ‘Gog/Magog’ or ‘Ezekiel War’, (after a time of false peace & increasing wealth), will have a huge world-wide effect and bring in the most serious Endtime events of Revelation 11- 19!

> Our intelligence tells us that this Nation, Israel, will come to Know God in a new way! Finally the entire world will know who ADONAI, the ‘Holy One of Israel’ - is! Already God is at work in many ways, developing the plan outlined by the Prophets thousands of years ago. Among every group – secular, religious, native born or immigrant in this complex nation, God is raising up Believers in Yeshua/ Jesus, right now. One day, they, & all new Believers, will be a blessing to the world. [There is not room here to outline all these, but see our Watchman’s Alert Newsletters.]

EXAMPLES OF RECENT BAD NEWS ABOUT ISRAEL & THE M.E.
(Especially in relation to the recent Lebanon -Israel war, & involvement of Syrian & Iranian leaders.)

This is because of the real threat & danger of kidnapping of Israelis, as well as terrorist attacks... & the huge build-up of weapons, especially in south Lebanon & Gaza.
Also civil war looming in the Palestinian area. Ongoing reports are of growing rebellions within the P.A. & Fatah, & Hamas, etc!
The growing ineffectiveness of 'the Quartet' /NATO- unable to agree or be really useful to bring stability to 'Palestine'.
The increasing, but doubtful roles of Russia & China in M.E. affairs.
A continuing need to ensure safety of Israel & encourage tourism again - also continue & re-route some of the 'fence'... yet discussion about other possible military steps that may need to be taken.
The desire of neighbours like Jordan & Egypt also, to recover from lack of tourism & the income that it brings, yet not knowing how to relate to Israel.
The fear of divisions between Sunni & Shi’ite followers, not only within Iraq, but also between the groups of nations, that are predominantly Sunni, (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, & some Gulf States,) & Iran, leading the Shi’ite nations.
Europe, especially Britain, more worried about their own security, (Al Qaida reportedly enlisting white Muslims & forming terrorist groups there!)
Many leaders & groups are trying to bring the hoped for 'peace', in the M.E., especially between Israel & the Palestinians, & therefore they are hoping for less criticism from Muslim nations. But what kind of ‘peace’ would it be?
Yet, recently Israel’s economy has been greatly boosted by large investments, which is part of the plan God has mentioned in His intelligence books called the ‘ Biblical Prophets’.

SO, WE HAVE ALL THE INTELLIGENCE ABOUT HOW GOD IS GOING TO BLESS ISRAEL!
There is a definite pattern to God’s eternal longing for Israel as a nation to go back to accepting Him alone, as their King. But they must first, in repentance & trust – individually, but as a Nation “call on the Name of the LORD Yeshua!” Romans chapters 9 – 11 & Ezekiel chapters 36 – 39 outline how this will happen before the Return of their Messiah. Jesus Himself said clearly, in Matthew 23 “You will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of ADONAI’.” [Please take time to see our articles on ‘Israel’s Glorious Future’ & Part 1 & 2 of ‘The Ezekiel War – Gog & Magog – what do they mean?’] We need to ‘pray in’ & be encouraged by this ‘intelligence’.

7. WE KNOW GOD CARES DEEPLY ABOUT CHRISTIANS ~ GOD'S TRUE CHURCH/ CONGREGATION/ BODY/ TEMPLE...
> Very many are still suffering awful discrimination, persecution and pressures. These things are so terrible to read about! The 'intelligence' makes us feel so helpless. But we know: they are among those, “of whom the world is not worthy," Hebrews 11, & they are also written about in Revelation, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, from now on." For all who are now & will in the future suffer like the Believers in Thessalonica were, Paul wrote words of comfort, “in the congregations of God, because of your perseverance & trust in all the persecutions & troubles you are going through. This is clear evidence that God’s judgement is just; & as a result you will be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. For it is justice for God to pay back trouble to those who are troubling you.”

Suffering Believers are known about by the Saviour, the Lamb of God who also suffered an unbelievably cruel death... A death, which could even be seen in a new & vivid way, depicted in film – not so long ago, ‘The Passion of the Christ’.

> Was our great God, giving one last, worldwide opportunity to realise what He has done for us in the Death of His Son, Jesus Messiah? The potential now is - for all 'in the West' and possibly many others around the world to see many films, videos, & programmes on TV & the Internet, about the true Gospel. This is also being heard on radio. It seems as if modern technology has made the Good News available at a very crucial time, even in Arabic, Farsi & other languages! It is great to hear of many hundreds of people turning to Jesus as Saviour!

SO HERE IS A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INTELLIGENCE INFO WE HAVE.

1. The world confusion, anger & godlessness, with false prophets & perplexed leaders are exactly what Jesus Himself warned us of, especially, “the increase of wickedness.” Very many areas of life on this Earth will get worse & worse. See Matthew 24 & Revelation 6.

2. The developments in the Muslim world & their desire to govern the world, along with Iran’s threats, (in our eyes) is an indication that God will thwart their plans, and glorify Himself, by delivering Israel physically & spiritually. The joining of many Islamic nations & probably, Russia – against Israel (in a separate scenario from the Battle of Armageddon) is going to change the entire world! Israel for the better, but a dreadful time for the rest of the world. Certainly, God will allow an even more wicked religious power to gain world control later under a unified False-messiah& False prophet as described in Revelation 13. ‘True’ Islam would never agree to sharing world religious power with any other religion. Therefore God will use ‘the Ezekiel War’ to break the hold of fanatical Islam. Many nominal Muslims will join the new –‘interfaith’ religion, although thousands will turn to God, through Jesus, as Isaiah 19:23 – 25 indicates, and “become a blessing on the Earth” – especially to Muslim nations. While the world is fearful of Iran, we do not need to be.

3. Israel’s spiritual restoration is assured, as God works on their behalf to rescue them from almost certain destruction, & brings them to Himself. It is summarised in the last verse of Ezekiel 39. “ I will no longer hide My Face (Yeshua) from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the House of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.” So – “all Israel will be saved!” Romans 11 - & bring great spiritual riches to the world in their restoration! This is also described in Joel chapter 2, & will take place in this world like it is now, & before the Return of Yeshua Messiah. It will coincide with the completed number of Gentile Believers.

4.The contrast physically between Israel & the rest of the world will be clear.
Isaiah describes it in chapter 60 - to Israel, “Arise shine for YOUR Light has come and the glory of ADONAI arises on YOU, -BUT, see – darkness covers the Earth, & thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon YOU, & His glory appears over you!”
To briefly recap what we have written in other articles, we believe the False-messiah will make a separate treaty with Israel, (from the rest of the world), forcing all Jews to return to their now, totally reclaimed Land, where they will be permitted to rebuild the Temple, & they will become a holy Nation as promised. “My dwelling Place [the Temple] Will be with them; I will be their God, & they will be My People. Then the nations will know that I ADONAI the LORD make Israel holy, when My Sanctuary is among them forever.” Ezekiel’s prophecy, 36: 27 & 28!

5.God is making His Gospel known throughout the world & it will reach a crescendo of a great end time Harvest, as Joel 2: 28 – 32 describes, “And everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD (Jesus) will be saved!” After anyone takes ‘mark of the Beast’ no change will be possible.

6.Even though the world will be in the grip of the False-messiah with great tribulation for the world, Israel, (as a renewed nation) will have a love for all people, & especially the true Christian Bible-reading Believers who will now be under greater danger from persecution by the False-messiah, whose Image is “allowed to cause anyone who would not worship the image of the Beast to be put to death.” Perhaps Israel will offer refuge to many true Gentile Christians?
Zechariah 8:23 says, “This is what ADONAI Almighty says, ‘In those days ten men from all languages & nations will take hold of one Jew, & say, let us go with you [to Israel] because we have heard that God is with you’.” That is Immanuel – Yeshua/ Jesus, our Saviour & theirs!

7.Then at the end of God’s time of ‘out-poured wrath’, there will be the Battle of Armageddon, which will be cut short by the victorious return of the LORD Jesus/ Yeshua Messiah! God has given us so much prophetic ‘intelligence details’ to understand & accept.

THE PROBLEM OF HAVING ‘CORRECT INTELLIGENCE’.
Honest readers are right to question our understanding of the points we’ve made.
This is always the reaction that leaders, or people making choices for themselves or others should have towards their ‘intelligence sources’!
The watchmen of this web site have a very deep concern about this, & it has been the motivation for all our articles. It comes from a fear that many people have been misled over the last 200 years, especially in the teaching of the ‘Pre-tribulation, (or even ‘Pre-wrath’) Bible teaching, accepted by over 25 modern teachers & thousands of their followers. We can only be as humble & honest and persistent as we know, to present the alternative teaching as given above, & in all our other articles. We are not ‘prophets’, but simply those who try to know what God’s Words says.

We plead with you to check the questions you have, first with the Word of God, the Bible, alone, praying for the Hoy Spirit’s help. THE GREATER QUESTION IS ~ WILL WE USE THE PROPHETIC ‘INTELLIGENCE’ OF THE WORD OF GOD ~ FOR HIS GLORY?

Will we use 'the intelligence', the opportunities, the time, we have, to PRAY about all these things and share the good prophetic intelligence of the Bible as God leads us?
Will we prepare ourselves, mentally & spiritually for what God may ask of us?
Often, in earthly scenarios, some intelligence department will say, ‘but we warned you, & you did not act on the good intelligence we gave you’. (‘9/11’ is only one example.) Let us be prepared.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USING ALL THE PROPHETIC ‘INTELLIGENCE’ WE HAVE, FOR GOOD.

1. Pray urgently that inspite of all the real 'dangers' the Evil One has/ will introduce, Christians & Messianic Believers will be kept true & that God will be honoured!

2. That Churches & Christians will be wise and loving to all people, Jews, Muslims, Leaders, everyone involved in all these issues, & prayerful for everything!

3. That the joyful victory of the Resurrection and the total Salvation available by faith in Jesus will be clear. The message of the Bible & Jesus is for every person. But the Message must be true so that not anyone will be 'inoculated' against the Gospel... by false teaching & dishonest leaders or so called ‘Christians’.

4. Please keep checking out all that you hear or read with the Word of God, the whole Bible. Every prophet’s & teacher’s words must be tested against this Guidebook!

Many times we will need to remember that we have a Loving LORD God, Who has shown Himself to us in the Person of His Son, Yeshua/Jesus Messiah who said, “Surely, I am with you always, to the very End of the Age.” In the N.T. Matthew 28: 20, as well as many assurances of God’s unfailing help to the righteous Believers throughout the Tanakh/O.T. Just take the Psalms – one like 46, “God is our Refuge & Strength, an ever-present Help in trouble… Be still & know that I AM God; I will be exalted among the nations, I WILL be exalted in the Earth. The LORD/ ADONAI is with us, the God of Jacob, [full of faults as we are], is our Fortress!”
